We know alcohol and experimentation pose a risk to safety, and we have done everything in our power to eliminate the risk to bring you good, clean, adult fun! Here's a Q&A about safety at The Drunken Laboratory.
The Drunken Laboratory is an immersive entertainment experience and NOT a real functioning laboratory—nor is it located in a real laboratory. It is a themed gallery, where consuming alcohol is safe and permitted (unlike in a real lab, where eating and drinking are not permitted).
Yes! Here's why:
No, The Drunken Laboratory does not use laboratory-grade chemicals. All liquids used are under the maximum concentration level of 30%, meaning they have already been diluted by 70%.
All experiments are simple, fun activities that have been enlarged in scale.
In science, we believe it’s always best practice to proceed with an abundance of caution, so we aim to eliminate all safety risks for guests by requiring the use of proper eye and hand coverings. We also want to provide projection for guests’ clothing during experimentation.
Plus, it looks great!
Additional procedures have been added to align with the CDC and NYS guidelines.
You are equipped with disposable gloves, goggles, and lab coats free of charge.
Hand sanitizer is available at each table.
All lab equipment and upholstery are carefully sanitized before and after each event.
